Chicago YCC: National Lab Day

We are helping Ms. Denard's Kindergarten Class at Miles Davis Magnet Academy, Chicago. Ms. Denard's class is learning about fish and how to care for them.

We are collecting aquariums for the class. We need 17 more aquarium/terrariums so that each student will be able to take an aquarium home with them over the summer.

Please donate an aquarium/terrarium like this one (make sure the one you buy has a lid that has vents) or donate money for an aquarium/terrarium via PayPal by using the button below:

You can drop off the aquarium/terrariums in the boxes in the Chemistry Department Main Office (Tech K148) at Northwestern, Evanton Campus or the 1st floor mail area in Gordon Center for Integrative Sciences (GCIS) at The University of Chicago or the main Chemistry Department Office (McGowan South  100) at DePaul University.

 

Four of us will be going to Ms. Denard's class on June 2 and doing a demo presentation for a 7-8th grade class at the same time. If you are interested in going to the class please contact the coordinator for this event: Lisa Fredin.
